The Opportunity:

East Bank Club is looking to add a Laundry Attendant to our team. Do you have a passion for hospitality? Love providing outstanding customer service? This could be the perfect opportunity! 

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for providing laundry services for the club’s fitness, pool, locker room, spa, and therapy areas before, during, and after club hours. As a Laundry Attendant, you will operate all laundry washing and drying equipment while ensuring to maintain the laundry area clean at all times.

Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour. This role is considered entry-level

Full Time Schedule

• Monday 1:30-10pm
• Tuesday 1:30-10pm
• Wednesday 1:30-10pm
• Friday 1:30-10pm
• Saturday 11:30-8pm

Full Time - 40 hours per week - Sunday & Thursday are off days

Job Responsibilities:

• Operation of all laundry washing equipment/machines.
• Operation of all laundry drying equipment/machines.
• Maintain the laundry area so that it is kept in a clean and professional manner.
• Clean all dryer lint traps.
• Handling laundry chemicals in a safe and professional manner.
• Notify management and engineering of any equipment failures or malfunctions.
• Fold and prep towels in a presentable manner and in a timely fashion.
• Deliver towels and linens as requested or needed.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the USA. We use E-Verify.
• Previous experience with housekeeping/laundering preferred.
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work well with others under pressure.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be on your feet for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend stoop, lift, stretch, and reach.
• Must be able to push and pull Laundry carts and buckets weighing over 100 lbs.
