The Responsibility : 

We thrive when our people thrive. The Laundry Assistant position is accountable to set-up, maintain, and put away all laundry for weekly Refill shifts. This position is responsible for providing outstanding cleaner interaction during weekly Refill shifts.

The Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Tasks and responsibilities associated with this position include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Communicate and describe Two Bettys’ mission and values.
• Educate new clients and cleaners on the importance of green cleaning (be our in-house green warrior)
• Laundry Duties:
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold laundry items according to company standards
  • Inspect laundry for stains and damage, and treat accordingly
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of clean laundry
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the laundry area
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies
• Refill Duties (as needed):
  • Set-up, maintain, and put away Refill items at weekly Refill shifts
  • General upkeep of Refill - general tidiness, organization and aesthetics of the space
  • Receiving, verifying and stocking deliveries
  • Inventory and track all Two Bettys products
  • Sanitize and refill all returned products and tools after being exchanged with cleaner
  • Create a space within Refill that cultivates connection, community, and making everyone feel welcome and connected to Two Bettys core values
  • Provide back-up to other Refill Assistant in the event of their absence 
• Projects as assigned per the demands of the business.
• Be an ambassador of Two Bettys through professional, compassionate, respectful, and collaborative behaviors.
• Work with HQ members on departmental and company goals, and build trust with staff, coworkers, vendors, partners, and clients. 
• Prioritize safety and insist that team members follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Achieve established goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Skills Required : 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities coupled with an ability to be a resourceful team player who is very effective independently.
• Deliver results in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive responsibilities.
• Attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Use discretion with confidential information.
• Give and receive feedback with care.
• Reliable transportation.

The Skills Desired : 

• Bilingual in Spanish.

The schedule:

Typically, 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm 

The Work Environment : 

• The Refill office environment is one that is “open air” and therefore it will be essential that the individual in this role has the ability to remain focused in a sometimes noisy environment.

The Physical Requirements : 

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb stairs, use step stool for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
