After the initial training period you can work a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week in our Pittsburgh office (located at 430 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh, PA  15238) and 2 days/week from home.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for a full range of office support administrative duties, including but not limited to: 

  • Field/screen income phone calls, taking accurate messages. Interact professionally with client, other firm professionals, court personnel, co-counsel, etc. 

  • Support case docket management functions including tracking filing deadlines 

  • Draft basic correspondence 

  • Processing office mail 

  • Requesting information from county or other governmental entities 

  • Perform internet research 

  • Open and maintain electronic and paper document files, includes accurate data entry 

  • Assist other members of the practice support group, as needed 

  • Other duties, as assigned 

Your Background

  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative office experience or internship required.   

  • Law firm experience and familiarity with litigation terminology considered a plus.  

  • Proficient computer skills and comfortable learning new software programs.  

  • Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook and database skills.   

  • Basic math skills and the ability to convert percentages to decimals.   

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with diverse client base in a professional and service-oriented manner.   

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
