Job Description

Under general supervision, ensure the safety of guests by preventing and responding to emergencies. A Lifeguard must have knowledge of water hazards, lifesaving techniques and first aid, recognize hazardous situations, and adopt effective courses of action. The Lifeguard must also have effective communication skills and engage positively with the pub

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Ensure the safety of guests by maintaining constant surveillance; scanning, and monitoring of guests for the assigned pool or water park area
• Render emergency care and contact emergency medical services as necessary.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
• Prepare and maintain activity reports
• Attend scheduled in-service training and follow all established safety procedures.
• Assist team members with other duties as required

Qualifications

• American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak effectively with guests and other team members
• Strong ability to recognize unsafe and hazardous situations and react properly
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
