Loan Administration & Grant Operations IT Business Analyst

Description:

Seeking a Loan Administration and Grants Business Analyst needed with reconciliation and 10-key experience for a contract role until the end of March 2026. The initial onboarding will be onsite before transitioning to hybrid or remote work from home.

Under general supervision, the Analyst will perform complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting to support management decision-making in federal and state grant programs. Duties include identifying trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve operational efficiency; partnering with various departments and outside agencies; providing high-level technical and administrative support for projects, grants, contracts, and procedures implementation; assisting with orientation and training of team members; supporting users of business tools and systems; and reviewing, documenting, and improving business processes in grant management and loan servicing within the organization.

Requirements:

Accounts Receivable & Loan Servicing Experience: Hands-on work with funds distribution, payment posting, and account reconciliation. Ideally, familiar with loan programs or grant disbursements, especially in the public sector or finance.
Heavy Reconciliation Experience: Must have reconciled large volumes of transactions or financial records. Proven attention to detail and numeric data proficiency.
Excel Expertise: Proficient in VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, and managing large datasets. Fast, accurate 10-key data entry required.
Other Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in business or a related field OR equivalent work experience. Ability to use business analysis tools, gather and evaluate information from multiple sources, distinguish user requirements, collaborate proactively with teams and leadership, document needs using standard templates, work independently, apply project management techniques, work with databases and spreadsheets, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, solution orientation, and the ability to independently evaluate and document business processes.
