Position overview

• Local CDL‑A — home daily : Operate local routes with daily home time.
• Shift: Night shift.
• Equipment: Dry van and reefer.
• Freight type: 100% no‑touch freight.
• Operating area: KY, OH, and IN.

Compensation & schedule

• Pay: 57–65 cents per mile (experience‑based).
• Typical weekly average: $1,350.
• Home time: Daily.

Primary responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Complete thorough pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections; promptly report defects and maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate hours‑of‑service records and electronic logging device (ELD) entries.
• Follow cargo securement and no‑touch handling procedures.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and maintenance personnel.
• Apply fuel management, routing, and on‑road safety best practices to maximize efficiency and safety.

Minimum qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (CDL‑A) .
• Ability to meet DOT medical and regulatory requirements and to pass required drug screening.
• No safety termination from most recent trucking job.
• Minimum of 3 months of SOLO CDL‑A tractor‑trailer driving experience within the last 12 months. (training is not considered experience)
