We are seeking a Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to provide 24-hour on-call coverage in Tiffin, Ohio. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality inpatient pediatric and newborn care within a collaborative and supportive hospital environment.
Assignment Details:
Shift: 24-hour call; 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Weekend Requirements: Yes
On-Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric and newborn hospitalist coverage, including admissions, rounding, and discharges.
Attend and manage high-risk deliveries and newborn resuscitations as needed.
Perform neonatal procedures including UVC/UAC placement and circumcisions.
Interpret X-rays and manage care for newborns and pediatric inpatients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Provide timely documentation and utilize the hospital’s EMR system for charting and communication.
Respond promptly to consults and calls within the required 30-minute response window.
Requirements:
Board Certified (preferred) or Board Eligible within five years of residency completion
Active Ohio Medical License
Ohio DEA registration
BLS and NRP certifications
Newborn and inpatient pediatric experience required
Proficiency in X-ray interpretation, circumcision, and UVC/UAC placement
