Position Description

As a Senior Logistics Analyst your role will be to execute logistics plans for the delivery and distribution of finished products and ensure product arrives complete, on time and in a cost effective manner. You will also maintain appropriate records, prepare reports and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.

You will do this by:

  • Providing frontline support for daily logistics operations, resolving issues and ensuring on time delivery of products.

  • Participating in development and implementation of logistics plans affecting the delivery and distribution of finished products.

  • Identifying and analyzing root causes of issues and working with logistics partners to develop solutions and performance improvement measures.

  • Cultivating relationships with other departments to understand their customers needs and propose ideas to exceed expectations..

  • Documenting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as needed

  • Maintaining department shipment data and records, running monthly report, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

You are the type of person who is/has:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting domestic and international import and export procedures.

  • Well-developed knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.

  • Well-developed ability to meet deadlines and organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented.

  • Solid knowledge of the principles of transportation logistics

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and interact with diverse groups of people.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft office suite of products, Google Applications, and other software associated with assigned work.

  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Three years experience in global logistics, transportation or supply chain or related field
