Job Description

The Supply Chain/Logistics Summer Intern will assist in optimizing supply chain processes, enhancing logistics efficiency, and gaining hands-on experience in the movement of goods. You will support key initiatives in inventory management, transportation coordination, and data analysis, working alongside experienced professionals to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective operations.

Job Duties

• Logging, tracking, sending invoices via freight payable co.
• Working with carriers and load tendering
• Auditing warehouse invoices for accuracy
• Helping to write SOP’s
• Helping to track and monitor Chile records for imports
• Assorted backup duties helping several members of the Transportation team

Projects

• Tracking Chile and Date imports
• Learning and using new online tracking software
• Assisting and providing feedback while we evaluate Transportation Management System software platforms
