Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Record Reviewer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role involves reviewing medical records to identify pre-existing conditions or diagnoses, helping streamline the healthcare claims process. The position offers flexible hours, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. You will be expected to meet a minimum production goal, and candidates must provide their own equipment, including a PC or laptop, internet connection, and a private workspace. The ideal candidate will be a licensed nurse with a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Thoroughly review medical records to identify pre-existing conditions or diagnoses.
Ensure timely and accurate assessment of records to support the claims process.
Maintain clear and detailed documentation of all reviewed records.
Efficiently manage a high volume of reviews to meet production goals (minimum of 4 files per hour).
Utilize internal systems and software for record management and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license is required; a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
Experience in medical record review or a similar role is strongly preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to meet production goals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Proficiency with computer systems and software applications.
Must have your own equipment: PC/laptop, reliable internet connection, and a private workspace.
