Job Description

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance requests and scheduling maintenance activities across managed properties to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained living environments for tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors to complete repairs and preventive maintenance efficiently.
  
• Manage and prioritize maintenance requests from tenants and property management.
  
• Schedule regular inspections and maintenance tasks to uphold property standards and compliance.
  
• Ensure timely response to emergency maintenance issues.
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and supplies inventory.
  
• Implement safety protocols and ensure maintenance staff comply with safety regulations.
  
• Collaborate with property management to plan for long-term maintenance and capital improvements.
  
• Train and mentor maintenance team members to improve skills and performance.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in residential or multi-family housing.
  
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
