Schedule: 2 Saturdays per month from 8am-12pm. Other days as needed from 730am-4pm.

The role you'll contribute:
Provides mammography imaging services.
The value you'll bring to the team:
Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures. Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Explains procedures and educates patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed
Graduate of a Two-years allied health program Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required
PRT - Practical Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required
