Job Description:

We are looking for efficient, safety-minded Masons for commercial construction. We have long-term work available for the right candidate in a variety of positions. This person is responsible for constructing and repairing structures and surfaces using a variety of materials, including bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.

The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications. Applicants should have construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to build or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.

· Mix and apply mortar or grout to secure workpieces.

· Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools.

· Construct scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed.

· Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.

· Inspect and repair existing masonry structures as required.

 

Qualifications:

· Experience as a Mason in the construction industry.

· Knowledge of various masonry materials, techniques, and tools.

· Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

· Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

· Physical stamina and strength to handle tools and materials.

· Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.

· Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company protocols.

· Must be willing, if required, to join the union.
