**Medical Assembly - Irvine, CA** **Shift: 3pm-11:30pm** **Pay rate: $19.75 per hour** **Pay increase once hired on perm** **Temp-to-hire** **Summary** This position is responsible for the production of high quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Working under close supervision, may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device assemblies. **Responsibilities** + Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on medical devices such as pacemakers, ICDs, and catheters + Follow standardized procedures while maintaining high compliance and quality standards + Communicate clearly regarding ideas, problems, and solutions + Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for all parts. + Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations. + Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics. **Background And Skills** + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions + Medical Assembly experience (1 year) + Experience working with small components under a microscope + Manual dexterity for tasks such as grabbing, pinching, twisting, and pulling + Ability to stand or sit for extended periods + Experience in a cleanroom environment is preferred + High school degree or equivalent.
