**Medical Device Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Shift A DISC Assembler, where you will be working on an assembly line to create high-quality plastic discs. You will use your hands or small tools to snap discs together, then operate machines to apply foil, laminate, and add labels and barcodes. Visual inspection is a crucial part of the process, ensuring quality at three different points along the assembly line. The workflow is steady throughout the entire shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical assembly of discs using hands and simple tools.
+ Conduct visual inspections of products during different stages.
+ Create labels for the DISC device.
+ Operate equipment to laminate and seal products.
+ Follow aseptic gowning procedures (bunny suit) and adhere to SOPs in a cleanroom environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1-2 years of experience in high volume production, such as assembly, machine operating, or packaging.
+ Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
+ High School Diploma is required.
+ Familiarity with cleanroom environments is preferred.
+ Experience in medical device assembly or packaging is a significant advantage.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience working in FDA, GDP, and GMP environments is beneficial.
+ Comfortable with repetitive and detail-oriented work.

**Work Environment**
Work in a cleanroom environment, wearing protective gear such as coveralls, booties, gloves, hair net, safety glasses, and face masks. You will work closely with others on the assembly line, often within three feet, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
