Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer Pay Rate:$30.00-$45.00/hour Location: Piedmont, SC 29673 Area Code: 864 Shift: 1st Employment Type: Direct/W2 with full benefits #qualityengineering #manufacturingjobs #aerospace Job Summary: Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support our client onsite at their aerospace production facility. In this role, you'll focus on collaborating with internal & external engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality standards are met throughout production. This is a hands-on position ideal for a quality-focused engineer with a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement within regulated industries. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage PR (Preliminary Review) and MRB (Material Review Board) dispositions for nonconforming parts.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan and document repair actions.
• Conduct detailed root cause investigations using methods such as 5-Why, DMAIC, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Track and support the disposition of out-of-flow hardware and inventory.
• Drive and support corrective action initiatives (RCCA) to prevent recurring issues.
• Assist with the development of Work Instructions, Standard Work, and process documentation.
• Support FAIRs, PPAP, and PFMEA activities as needed.
• Train and coach internal teams on quality best practices and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-15+ years" experience in an aerospace manufacturing and quality engineering environment.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools and structured problem-solving methods.
• Familiarity with PR/MRB processes and hands-on quality analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Due to the nature of the work US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of FAIR, PPAP, PFMEA, and quality documentation standards.
• Experience with quality systems such as SAP, Solumina, or similar platforms.
• Background in aerospace, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing settings.
• Ability to deliver training and guidance on quality processes and tools.
