An up-and-coming European-style bakery café in the heart of Falls Church City is seeking Morning Bakers. These members of our operations team must be energetic and creative early risers who are passionate about artisan baking and willing to learn. We feature a menu of hand-crafted breads, pastries, a variety of croissants, scones, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bear claws, cookies, European-style desserts and cakes. All of our bakery products are made in-house from scratch daily using the finest ingredients available. 

Duties will include:

• Daily production of morning pastries, croissants, scones, cinnamon rolls, breads, rolls and other baked goods.
• Efficiently maintaining consistent quality in all baked items per company's standard.
• Carefully and accurately scaling ingredients.
• Mixing a variety of different doughs.
• Shaping pastries.
• Operating baking tools and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean work environment. 
• Managing time effectively.
• Tracking inventory and reporting supply needs to manager in a timely fashion.
• Performing all other job-related duties as required.

Requirements:

• Impeccably punctual and consistently reliable.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Available to work early morning shifts, and occasional overnight, weekends and holidays.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Quick learner with ability to follow directions and take feedback well.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to stand and move for the duration of shift.
