Job Title: Nanny/Housekeeper

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: New York, NY, 10065

Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour

Job Description:

A family is seeking a dedicated and reliable Nanny/Housekeeper to join their family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the care of their three children, ages 6, 8, and 12, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of their home while the kids are in school. This position requires someone who is proactive, nurturing, and capable of balancing childcare with household duties.

Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Provide attentive and responsible care for three children, ages 6, 8, and 12
• Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities, including outdoor play, arts and crafts, and educational games
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks

Housekeeping:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain organization in all areas of the home
• Laundry and ironing for the family
• Change bed linens and make beds
• Grocery shopping and running errands as needed
• Meal planning and preparation
• Keep inventory of household supplies and restock when necessary

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a nanny and/or housekeeper
• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with school-aged children
• Flexibility to occasionally adjust schedule as needed
• Basic cooking skills
