Through fun, interactive lessons, you'll help students develop essential coding skills while fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

About the Role

As an online coding instructor, you'll deliver engaging 60-minute lessons using a STEM.org-certified curriculum. All lesson plans are provided, allowing you to focus on what you do best—teaching and inspiring students! This is a contractor position, offering flexible hours that fit your schedule.

You should apply if you:

Have a contagious enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring children

Are interested in technology and coding (prior coding experience is a plus but not required)

Are comfortable using technology and teaching online

Can confidently engage with students aged 6-14

Have a knack for breaking down complex concepts into easy-to-understand lessons

Are adaptable, resourceful, and able to think on your feet

Currently reside in the United States

Are available 5-20 hours per week

Preferred (but not required) skills:

Basic coding knowledge or a background in computer science

Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

A teaching qualification or experience in a classroom setting

Experience with lesson planning and online tutoring/teaching
