Description Job Description: Order Fulfillment Specialist
Join Kerecis as an Order Fulfillment Specialist and play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our customers. This position ensures smooth and efficient order processing, inventory management, and shipping operations.
This full-time role is based on site in a Kerecis office and reports to the Logistics Manager.
Essential Functions - Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders through our order management system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage and organization of products
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare orders for shipment, including packing products securely, labeling shipments accurately, and coordinating with shipping carriers
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products before shipping to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and any issues that may arise during the fulfillment process
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory levels, and shipping information in our databases
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment, including discrepancies, returns, and damaged items
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including customer service, sales, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements Skills & Attributes - Proficiency in order management software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed
Education and Experience - High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred
