What You’ll Do The pharmacist will provide pharmaceutical services to all Grand River Hospital District (GRHD) services.

• Compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician’s instructions in a hospital or healthcare facility setting.
• Consults with medical staff about potential drug interactions, patient medical history, and the use of particular medications.
• Responds to questions from patients and staff about medications and dosage instructions.
• Serves as pharmacy representative on interdepartmental committee(s) or may be asked to serve as subject matter expert for projects as needed.
• Ensures that all required pharmacy data is recorded and maintained and complies with all regulatory, security and hospital procedures.
• May supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Performance of these professional functions is generally associated with the practice of pharmacy in the institutional setting.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Licensed by the State of Colorado Board of Pharmacy
• Minimum of two years’ experience in hospital pharmacy.
• Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency may be used for the experience requirement.

• Pay Range: $63.00 - $70.00 an hour Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
• Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends
• PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
