A pharmacy technician is responsible for accurately preparing prescriptions under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, while performing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:

• Provide the utmost customer service, greeting patients in the pharmacy and on the phone.
• Inputs patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy software system
• With direction from the Pharmacist, prepare and dispense medications as ordered by prescribers by calculating, measuring and mixing ingredients in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow all state, federal and company guidelines.
• Assist in management of drug & otc inventory and/or perform clinical services under the direction of a clinical pharmacist.
• Assist with keeping pharmacy clean & in order.
• Be able to pass background check to become licensed with the Nebraska Board of Pharmacy.
• Willing to study and pass test to become a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to work as a team with excellent communication skills.

Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, some lifting may be required.
