(Physician/MD qualifications required) Anesthesiology - Physical Medicine and Rehab | Sports Med Physician Salisbury MD
We are seeking a compassionate Physical Medicine and Rehab OR Sports Medicine Physician to join our medical practice in the Salisbury and Cambridge, MD area. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care, so we schedule new patient appointments for 30-45 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The Physician will be splitting the coverage at our 2 offices 2 days per week in Salisbury and Cambridge, with the potential to increase to 4 days per week (full time) if willing to cover our offices in Dover and Millsboro, DE.

Job Duties:
Patient care and management- initial medical consults and patient follow up
Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
Order Diagnostic labs|imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testing
Oversee the patients diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
Documentation - timely and accurate
Order|refer to in house therapies
Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
Uphold the companys mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the companys goals
Requirements:
MD|DO from an accredited educational institution
BCBE Physical Medicine and Rehab (PMR) Physician or Sports Medicine Physician
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the States of Maryland
Favorable malpractice history
Basic Life Support|Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
DEA license
Schedule:
Part time (2- 3 days per week)
No Call or Weekends!
Salary:
$175-$200 per hour (Depending on experience, credentials)
