Job Description

We are seeking a 1099 Pediatric Physician to provide on-call, remote medical guidance for a summer camp program in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will offer virtual consultations and guidance for camp staff regarding the health and well-being of campers. This is a fully remote, as-needed position, but candidates must be local to San Diego.
Compensation : $150/hr
Location: Remote (Must be local to San Diego, CA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide  telehealth consultations for camp staff regarding minor injuries, illnesses, and general pediatric concerns.
• Assess symptoms remotely and determine appropriate next steps for care.
• Offer medical advice in accordance with camp health policies and best practices.
• Coordinate with camp nurses and staff to ensure proper treatment plans are followed.
• Advise on emergency protocols and assist in coordinating local medical referrals if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Pediatrician with an active California medical license.
• Experience in  telehealth or remote consultation preferred.
• Strong understanding of common pediatric conditions, summer camp health concerns, and emergency procedures.
• Must be local to  San Diego, CA to provide guidance based on local medical resources.
• Liability/Malpractice insurance required (as this is a 1099 contract role).
