The Division of Gastroenterology at Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking a distinguished physician to lead a program focused on gastrointestinal (GI) nutrition, enteral and parenteral feeding . This individual will drive innovation in clinical care, research, and education in the field of GI nutrition while collaborating across disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a comprehensive program in GI nutrition, enteral and parenteral feeding .
• Provide expert clinical care in managing complex nutritional disorders , including malnutrition, intestinal failure, and metabolic disorders.
• Establish and grow a research portfolio, ideally with NIH or equivalent funding , or be willing to actively pursue extramural funding opportunities.
• Foster multidisciplinary collaborations across Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Surgery, and other related fields.
• Mentor trainees, fellows, and junior faculty in the areas of clinical care and research.
• Contribute to national and international efforts in advancing GI nutrition research and practice.

• MD or equivalent degree with board certification in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or another relevant field with a focus on gastrointestinal nutrition.
• Nationally recognized expertise in GI nutrition, enteral and parenteral feeding.
• Strong record of clinical excellence and academic scholarship , including publications in high-impact journals.
• Established track record of independent or collaborative research , ideally with NIH or equivalent funding or a strong commitment to seeking such funding.
• Demonstrated leadership in clinical program development and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida.
