Hampstead Internal Medicine is a growing primary care practice in Hampstead, NC. Our goal is to provide great pay, a fun and friendly work environment, a flexible schedule (because you have a great life outside of work!), and the support you need to take excellent care of your patients.
At Hampstead Internal Medicine our model is built around caring for our patients as our top priority. We want you spending time with patients, not in front of the EMR. To do that, we assign care managers to most patients to help with non-clinical tasks and to free you up for clinical work. We are looking for hard working, responsible providers who are ready to take ownership of their patients and provide great care.
We are proud of our patient care. In order to maintain a great long term experience for you and for our patients we are built around a model of seeing, on average, 15 or fewer patient encounters per day. Along with this we expect an excellent experience for our patients and our clinical staff. We do make house calls in local independent living facilities, and that will be part of this role (approximately 3 half days/month).
Each provider will have flexible scheduling, work an average of 4.5 days/week, and have a minimum of (2 weeks) of PTO per year.
Base pay is $130,000k/year. There is a productivity bonus as well. Our current nurse practitioner usually reaches this bonus each month, though it is not guaranteed.
We are currently seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who has a strong background in primary care or urgent care. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently to manage a panel of 1500 adult patients, have great personal and communication skills, and have a passion for taking care of people in this community. This practice is built around care management, not the traditional fee for service model, so please be comfortable with telemedicine and other non-traditional methods of interaction. There will be an in-house physician most days, however, a successful candidate will be able to practice independently.
New grads - Best wishes to you as you start your career. This is not a job for new graduates. Clinical experience is required, as is the ability to work independently.
