Position Overview  

The Plant Operator will operate and assist in maintenance of plants at our aggregate quarry in Annville, PA. 

• Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply, Inc.
• Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK, etc.).
• Start crushing, screening, conveying and all related equipment.
• Daily safety check of the plant.
• Ensure proper size and quality of the product.
• Maximize production of the product.
• Maintain crusher settings.
• Ensure proper size and quality of the product.
• Proper and safe start up and shut down of plant/dredge.
• Monitoring operation of plant, making necessary adjustments and maintenance.
• Responsible for daily production reports.
• Communicate maintenance needs and turn in maintenance requests daily. Fill out work orders for maintenance required. 
• Keep plant area neat and organized.
• Check oil levels and grease all equipment on the plant as required. Complete daily and weekly checklists.
• Verify all equipment is functioning properly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Current driver’s license.
• Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.

Education/Experience

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Computer experience preferred
