Job Summary: Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Prep Cook to join our team at our Cafe in North Charleston, South Carolina. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing daily menu items and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This individual contributor role offers a competitive salary of $16 per hour and is a full time position with weekly pay. SECURE FACILITY: NO PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED ON BASE - LANDLINE AVAILABLE, IF NEEDED. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all menu items in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality of food
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper sanitization of food preparation areas and equipment
• Stock and rotate ingredients as necessary
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• R.E.A.L. ID: REAL ID | Homeland Security (dhs.gov)
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures; must obtain food handler certificate
• Must clear a Military background check
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
