Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of childhood development to effectively support the learning and growth of each child in our care.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical education, social skills, and cognitive development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress through standardized testing and observational methods.
  • Provide individualized support for children with special education needs or behavioral challenges.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to ensure effective communication regarding child welfare.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior positively.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with early intervention strategies and educational trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential; experience in special education is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Ability to implement effective tutoring strategies tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children through play-based education.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required.
