Job Title: Production Assistant Reports To : Production Assistant

Job Summary: The production assistant role supports production and logistics operations by providing administrative and operational support across production workflows, inventory control, customer coordination, and shipping activities. This role ensures accurate tracking, communication, and documentation to support internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Production & Workflow Support - Monitor and update production status; communicate updates to key stakeholders.
- Support inventory tracking, label preparation, and lot traceability.
- Work closely with leads and supervisors to meet daily output targets and resolve issues.
- Help create production priority lists and manage workflow queues.
Customer & Order Coordination - Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to order status, inventory, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure aligned priorities and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate order records, including forecasts, status updates, and tracking documentation.
- Support issue resolution for delayed, held, or backordered orders.
Shipping & Logistics - Assist with communication regarding shipping delays, courier issues, or discrepancies.
- Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and current.
Inventory & Administrative Support - Monitor stock levels and proactively identify potential shortages or replenishment needs.
- Collaborate with teams on short-dated or expiring inventory handling.
- Assist with updates to item specifications or documentation deviations as needed.
Operational Support - Provide flexible support across teams, including day-to-day coordination tasks and documentation.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and cross-functional communication.
Qualifications: - High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
- 1 plus years of experience in production, logistics, or administrative support (regulated environment a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with ERP or inventory systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Job Setting / Environment: - T his position is performed in an environmentally controlled building.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and computer usage.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking within the building.
- Location: On-site
