Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing behavioral health team just 20 miles south of Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in an environment that prioritizes clinical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for patients with a range of mental health conditions.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making.
Requirements:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or relevant experience in psychiatry as a PA-C.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred.
Strong diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
