PURPOSE:
To design and manage all daily operation process of regional service center. Managers will work directly with Fleet Managers and CSR’s on site and off to ensure we are maximizing our potential in the region. Persons in this position will interface with the Maintenance Department on facility issues within the property, along with assisting in ensuring Marten equipment is properly maintained.
Responsibilities:
1.Act as local operations contact for Martens customer within the region and assist sales in development of regional customers
2.Analyze daily market balances and communicate issues with management and sales team.
3.Supervision of customer manager and assistants on site and the daily execution of their responsibilities
4.Supervision on site Fleet Managers by ensuring production, safety, on time performance, and implementation of cost control measures.
5.Track performance and key elements and develop solutions that benefit Marten Transport as a whole.
6.Interact with drivers for counseling, problem resolution, and general assistance
7.Perform ongoing analysis of employee workloads to ensure balance and distribution
8.Coordinator with shop personal to prioritize utilization of equipment; help monitor cost, and maintaining a safe working environment.
9.Maintain professional appearance of Marten facility
10. Other duties as assigned
