Registered Nurse - Pediatrics - Day Shift

Location: Healthcare Facilities across NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens)

Pay Rate: $68 - $72 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate children's medical needs while providing initial care.
• Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Identify changes in symptoms and intervene promptly in emergency situations.
• Administer medications, childhood vaccinations, and perform IV insertions and phlebotomy following age-appropriate protocols.
• Participate in pain management and provide compassionate support for children and their families.
• Evaluate children for potential signs of abuse and report as necessary.
• Offer end-of-life supportive care for pediatric patients in need.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Active RN License – New York State (Primary Source Verification required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in maternal and child health within an acute care setting.
• Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA Certified.
