Due to rapid expansion in all of our clinics, we are offering a $250 sign on bonus for our PRN/on-call nurses. We are eager to be able to continue to serve clients in our service areas and need you to make this happen!

Compass Health is looking for a nurse to work on our Transitional Services Residential unit. This individual will oversee the resident"s physical and psychiatric care. This nurse is responsible for providing education, coordinating care with staff, residents, physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals and pharmacies and all components of medication management. Other responsibilities of the nurse:

Performs nursing care such as health assessments, pain assessments, vital sign

s, applying dressings and general daily care of residents
Manages medications including completing the MAR, updating the MAR and counting controlled substances
Provides patient education regarding physical health and medications
Reports and records observable changes in resident behavior, attitude and physical condition
Responds to emergency situations as specified by the guidelines of the unit during working shift and on call
Assists physicians and staff with various diagnostic and treatment procedures
Initiates and participates in group or individual activities with residents
Provides education on procedures and protocols to new employees

Associates degree in nursing required
Bachelors degree in nursing preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Registered Nurse license in Missouri required
