Job Title: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia, 30303
Contract Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
Shift: Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Start Date: May 5, 2025
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/IMCU) . This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team in a fast-paced, cardiac-focused unit. As a PCU RN, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with acute cardiac conditions. We are looking for nurses who are confident in managing complex cardiac cases and comfortable with cardiac drips and protocols.
Unit Details:
28-bed PCU/IMCU
Patient population includes: STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, Chest Pain
Ratio: 1:3-4
Frequent use of cardiac drips: Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors
Requirements:
Active RN license (Georgia or compact state)
Minimum of 1 year documented PCU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
Experience with cardiac patients and titratable cardiac drips required
