Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) (Day Shift)
Location: Healthcare Facilities across NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens)
Pay Rate: $75 - $80 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide post-anesthesia care, monitoring patient recovery and vital signs.
• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and administer conscious sedation as needed.
• Assess patients' conditions and respond to any post-operative complications.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical PACU experience.
• Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Active RN License – New York State.
• AHA BLS & ACLS Certified.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
