Job Description

Prestigious Personal Injury law firm headquartered in New York, with a nationwide presence is currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Immigration Attorney for a remote contract position. The position is anticipated to run long term, it will start as part time (15-25 hours per week) and move to full time as the project scales up, the compensation structure is at an hourly rate plus bonuses.   The position will involve handling inbound calls and Zoom consultations dealing with family and humanitarian based immigration clients, experience with deportation hearings and proceedings is a plus.   The clients are pre-screened and have agreed to retain the firm. You would be providing intake and retainer support.   You must have an active bar license in good standing, a CA or NV bar license is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Must be bilingual Spanish
• Must have an active bar license in good standing, a CA or NV bar license is a plus
• Must have 2 years plus experience in family and humanitarian based immigration; T/ U / VAWA and family-based visa application experience, experience with deportation hearings and proceedings is a plus
• Must be a self-starter and available for long-term
• Must be a detail-oriented
• Must be someone who enjoys speaking with and helping people
