Job Description

Magic Media is a pioneering media, entertainment and tech group powered by creativity and innovation. We have a physical presence in 15 countries and expertize in the areas of art, animation, cybersecurity, game development, software development, VFX and video production amongst others. We work with leading developers and publishers within the games and tech industry, providing support and solutions designed around individual needs and carried out by global experts.

We’re looking for a highly capable and technically-minded Lead Game Producer to take ownership of multiple game projects and lead cross-functional teams to successful delivery. You will oversee all aspects of production, ensuring projects are planned, executed, and delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards.

As a Lead Producer, you’ll operate at both strategic and tactical levels, combining strong leadership with excellent production methodologies. You will drive Agile game development processes, continuously optimize workflows, and ensure the production organization scales effectively across multiple projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Own and lead multiple simultaneous game and 3D art production projects across different genres and platforms, from pre-production to launch and live operations.
  • Define and maintain clear project roadmaps, detailed production schedules, resource plans, and risk assessments.
  • Drive Agile production methodologies, ensuring teams follow structured sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and data-driven tracking.
  • Build and manage production pipelines, ensuring full visibility on task progress, dependencies, and critical paths using Jira, Confluence, and related tools.
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, risks, and blockers, ensuring projects stay on track across scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads, stakeholders, clients, and external partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Mentor and support other producers and project managers, ensuring strong production standards across all teams.
  • Partner with leadership on staffing, capacity planning, forecasting, and resourcing needs across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes, tools, workflows, and studio-wide best practices.
  • Actively participate in playtests and reviews, providing production-driven feedback and ensuring development remains aligned with business and creative goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in production roles within game development, with part of that time spent leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile game development methodologies, including hands-on experience leading Agile teams.
  • Deep expertise in Jira, including advanced configuration, custom workflows, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines, technical constraints, and cross-discipline workflows (art, design, engineering, QA, live operations).
  • Proven track record shipping PC, Console, and/or Mobile titles from concept to release (AA or AAA experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills, with experience managing producers or project managers.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven in tracking and driving production progress.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and implement solutions proactively.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Benefits

  • Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
  • Opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of exciting game projects across multiple platforms.
  • Career growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding international studio.
  • Professional development, ongoing training, and mentorship.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced, and inclusive company culture.
  • Work alongside experienced and passionate industry professionals.

At Magic Media, our passion lies in gaming. Our vision is to create and deliver engaging and interesting games for our clients. We can deliver this high-quality work on any platform, whether it be on a console, PC, or mobile. We know that reputation and results go hand-in-hand.
