Job Description

Rental Car Valet Porter strives to maintain the upkeep of Rental Car department vehicles and provide exceptional customer service. This role will be responsible for operating and maneuvering vehicles safely.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Take accurate notes on vehicle condition
• Prior dealership, porter experience a plus
• Follow proper and explicit instructions
• Professional appearance and disposition
• Excellent customer service skills are expected
• Strong communication skills
• Valid California driver’s license and insurable
• Drive manual and automatic transmissions
• Team-oriented with a positive, friendly disposition
• Ability to use hand tools and power washers
• Productivity through time management

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with rental car write-ups and tagging customer cars
• Give customers rides to their home and employer
• Clean the area around the Rental Car department
• Maneuver vehicles in congested areas and parallel park
• General lot maintenance
• Operate vehicles in all types of conditions and driving environments with limited space and obstacles
• Moving vehicles
• Pick up mail and do other pick-ups & deliveries as requested
• Wash and prep cars
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
