Position: Property Maintenance Technician

Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
We are hiring a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to support residential properties in Tupelo, MS. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who takes pride in quality work and maintaining safe, well-kept properties. Apartment or residential maintenance experience is required. HVAC experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Complete general maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting
Address routine service requests and respond to emergency maintenance issues in a timely manner
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled property inspections
Maintain exterior areas, including light landscaping and minor structural repairs
Coordinate with property management and residents to resolve maintenance concerns
Maintain clean, organized tools, equipment, and workspaces
Track completed work orders and materials used
Follow all safety standards, policies, and building regulations
Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum of 2 years of property maintenance experience required
Experience in apartment communities or residential housing strongly preferred
Basic HVAC knowledge is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and time-management skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Consistent and reliable work history
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely on ladders
Proficient with hand and power tools
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
Day shift
8-hour or 10-hour shifts available
Monday through Friday
