We are looking for friendly, courteous and reliable people to join our dynamic team here at Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa. Not only are we ready to hire Restaurant Bartenders / Servers for our famous, upscale Old Captiva House restaurant, but we are also looking for enthusiastic staff for our 'soon to re-open' revitalized Crow's Nest and Shipyard dining areas!

Full-time and part-time hours; evening shifts available; Monday-Sunday including holidays.

Education requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum of 2 years CURRENT service experience in food service, bartending (preferred but not required for Server positions) and general hospitality
• Serve Safe Food Handler certification (preferred)

Job Requirements:

• Ability to interact constructively and cordially with guests
• Be able to memorize menu items and 'daily specials', answer related questions and make menu suggestions
• Ability to learn proper wine service
• Be able to take orders efficiently and enter them in a timely and accurate fashion in the MICROS POS system
• Ensure the timely and correct delivery of food and beverages to our guests
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
• Ability to process payments accurately
• Willingness and ability to complete side work as required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high volume setting
• Maintain clean and sanitized work stations
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Maintain stock supplies
• Thorough completion and documentation of assigned opening and closing procedures
• Assisting as directed in the set-up and / or breakdown of function areas
• Punctuality and ability to observe regular and consistent attendance including daily line-ups
• Contribute to a positive team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.98 per hour
