Job Overview:

Steel District Restaurant Group is seeking an energetic and experienced Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role will involve both serving tables and mixing quality cocktails behind the bar. We are looking for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Duties:

• Greet guests promptly and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, offering menu recommendations and answering any questions.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, ensuring all needs are met.
• Handle payments efficiently and accurately, ensuring correct billing.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas.

Bartender Duties:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages to guests.
• Check guests' identification to ensure legal drinking age.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking inventory, prepping garnishes, and cleaning glassware.
• Provide drink recommendations and educate guests on various beverages and menu pairings.
• Monitor bar patrons for overconsumption and maintain a safe, responsible atmosphere.

General Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service.
• Ensure all food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including all COVID-19 protocols if applicable.
• Uphold the restaurant’s high standards of hospitality and guest service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server and/or bartender in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and proper serving techniques.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to remain friendly and professional in a busy environment.
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
