Join NCI Affiliates as a Retail Job Coach in our Client Services Department, where you will play a vital role in supporting and training individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in our Thrift Stores (Atascadero and Paso Robles) , helping individuals achieve their personal and professional goals. This position is part of the "Braided Day" program where half the day is spent in vocational training and the other half developing community and vocational skills as an instructor.

Qualifications

• Current California driver's license (driving is required for this position)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Basic computer/technology skills and knowledge
• Customer Service Experience
• Reliable transportation to work
• High school diploma or GED
• Patience, compassion, and ability to be a role model for adults with disabilities
• Flexibility with work schedules and ability to work according to the need

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives that align with individuals' abilities and development.
• Execute and monitor contract requirements to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to internal operating procedures, including preparing documents of daily cash records, inventory records, and daily deposit of cash receipts.
• Learn the operations of multiple locations and work with a variety of individuals, adjusting to the group's needs.
