Now Hiring Security Officers- Suffern, NY!

DSI Security Services is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Suffern, NY. Be part of a diverse and inclusive workplace that values exceptional customer service and recognizes that its greatest asset is our employees. 

Pay: 

• $18.54 /hour 

Available Schedules: Full-Time 

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available 

Security Officer Responsibilities: 

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. 
• Monitor and report safety hazards; take proactive steps to promote safety. 
• Follow all DSI and client-specific policies and post instructions. 
• Participate in training and stay up to date with safety procedures and protocols. 
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with the public. 
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in various weather conditions. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor. 
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Pre-Employment Requirements: 

• Must be at least?18 years old. 
• Must have reliable transportation and communication. 
• Must pass a background check and drug screening. 
• Drivers License 
• NY Guard Card
