Cordia Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for complex general ledger work, intercompany consolidations, and revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. A CPA certification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage complex general ledger accounting functions.
• Perform intercompany consolidations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Handle revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP/ASC 606.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Stay up to date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification required.
• 5+  years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
• Experience with financial consolidations and multi-entity accounting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
