Company Overview:
Regional Community Bank, focused on the Greenville MSA markets, focused on local/regional growth is looking to add a Senior Commercial Lender to their growing team. Ideal Banker with have a active book of business, be able to help the bank grow both loans and deposits , and take over a portion of a current portfolio.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Commercial Lender/Banker, you will be responsible for GROWING a portfolio of commercial clients and providing financial solutions to help them achieve their business goals. You will also play a key role in developing new business relationships and growing the bank's commercial lending portfolio. This role with be the FACE of the Bank in the local community, active in local groups as well as build a strong book of local business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and Manage a portfolio of commercial clients and provide financial solutions to meet their needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business and financial goals
- Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess creditworthiness and risk
- Structure and negotiate loan terms and conditions in accordance with bank policies and regulations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, loans and deposits, through networking and prospecting
- Collaborate with other departments within the bank to provide a seamless and exceptional customer experience
- Strong Business Development skills, excellent communication skills!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial lending/banking
- Strong knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis, and financial statement analysis
- Proven track record of successfully managing a growing of commercial clients and growing business relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
