About the Role:

As a Senior Tax Manager – Trusts & Estates , you'll become a strategic leader in the Private Client Service practice. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of estate and trust tax matters, including gift, estate, fiduciary, and high-net-worth individual tax compliance and planning . You'll work closely with prestigious clientele and lead a skilled tax team while collaborating cross-functionally with other leaders in the firm.

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or a related field
• CPA or EA designation (U.S. credential only)
• 7–10+ years of U.S. tax experience in public accounting
• Located in or willing to commute to New York or New Jersey (hybrid model)
• Strong experience with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, private clients
• Expertise in estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns
• Knowledge of fiduciary accounting and multistate tax issues

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Trust & Estate tax division within Private Client Services
• Oversee and review complex tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals, estates, trusts, private foundations, and gifts
• Develop and deliver estate planning strategies for clients
• Mentor and manage a team of tax professionals
• Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients in the trust and estate space
• Maintain firm visibility within the estate planning and high-net-worth community
