Position Overview

As an SEO Specialist at Terrayn, you’ll be the driving force behind our clients' digital success. Your main mission? To get them ranking higher and reaching more customers through smart, data-backed SEO strategies. With your knowledge of WordPress, GA4, and the cannabis tech stack, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients stand out in this exciting industry.

Compensation Structure: Base Salary ($50,000 - $70,000)
This position can be remote in all states (excluding MA and CA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop killer SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve rankings for cannabis clients.
• Dive deep into keyword research and make sure every page is primed to succeed in search engines.
• Audit websites and improve technical SEO (site speed, mobile optimization, indexing—oh my!).
• Collaborate with content creators to make sure every piece of copy is not only great but optimized for SEO.
• Get hands-on with WordPress , especially with the Elementor Page Builder , to tweak and optimize pages.
• Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and report on performance, adjusting campaigns for maximum impact.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline your workflow, boost productivity, and stay ahead of the curve.
• Integrate Google Ads & Programmatic to complement SEO strategies when needed.
• Keep up with e-commerce SEO trends to make sure product pages are converting like crazy.
• Familiarity with cannabis tech tools like Dutchie , Jane , and others is a bonus!

Who We’re Looking For:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving search rankings.
• Expertise in WordPress and Elementor (bonus points for Elementor mastery).
• Solid understanding of GA4 , UTM parameters , and Google Ads .
• Experience with AI tools (like ChatGPT or SurferSEO) to streamline your SEO magic.
• Min. 2-years experience with Keyword Research, On-page Optimization
• Min. 2-years experience with Google Search Console, Analytics, & My Business
• Familiarity with Google Insights, Google maps & mobile/desktop functionality
• Bonus: You’ve worked with cannabis tech platforms like Dutchie or Jane .
• A passion for digital marketing and the ever-evolving cannabis industry.
