Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in Centralia, WA:

• Openings in Elementary
• Caseload: 50-70 students
• Contract can start in February 2025 or for the 2025/2026 school year - 37.5 to 40 hours per week

Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Pay: 

• $70-$72/hr. depending on experience and qualifications

Speech Language Pathologist / SLP Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Speech Language Pathologist Certificate required, or in progress/pending.
• WA Department of Health Services Speech and Language Pathology License.
• Must have NPI number with Health Care Authority for billing (or be working towards this requirement).

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• The ideal candidate will assess and treat a range of communication disorders using tele practice methods, collaborating with educators and parents to create individualized treatment plans.
• Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering therapy sessions, maintaining documentation, and participating in IEP meetings.
• The SLP will be committed to supporting students’ communication needs in a flexible, engaging manner.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
