Job Description

LaSalle Network is hiring a Senior Scrum Master (Consultant) for a fast-paced, enterprise-level transformation project based in Rosemont, IL. This consulting opportunity is ideal for a Scrum Master who’s seasoned in both Agile best practices and real-world implementation. We’re looking for someone who can not only run ceremonies but elevate team performance and collaboration.

Senior Scrum Master Responsibilities:

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies—Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives—with energy and purpose
Remove blockers and help teams stay on track toward their sprint goals
Guide teams through Agile maturity, coaching on best practices and continuous improvement
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain healthy backlogs and align on delivery priorities
Use Azure DevOps to manage sprint boards, reporting, and story tracking
Lead Scrum of Scrums and manage cross-team dependencies
Set clear team norms including Definition of Done and Definition of Ready
Promote Agile excellence by coaching on metrics, quality, and delivery practices

Senior Scrum Master Requirements:

8+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software development environments
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps is a must
Proven ability to lead high-performing, cross-functional Agile teams
Strong communicator who can translate between business and tech
Certified Scrum Master (CSM, A-CSM, SAFe SM, or CSP)
Background in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
Experienced in SAFe environments and scaled Agile coordination
